Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 5, 2026
This policy explains how MetaCoach collects, uses, stores, and protects personal data when you use this website, contact us, sign in, or save assessment results.
1. Controller and contact
MetaCoach is the controller for personal data processed through this website. For privacy questions or GDPR requests, contact us at privacy@metacoach.pro.
2. Data we collect
We collect contact form data you provide directly: first name, last name, email address, message, and your privacy consent confirmation. If you create or use an account, we process authentication data such as email address, name, session data, password hash for email/password accounts, or Google profile data such as profile image and provider account id when you sign in with Google. If you save assessment progress or results, we store the assessment type, answers, calculated score, result id, and timestamps. We also process security and rate-limit data such as IP-derived request identifiers.
3. Purposes and legal bases
We use contact form data to respond to your request based on your consent and our legitimate interest in communication. We use account and session data to provide sign-in and saved results based on performance of the service you request. We use saved assessment answers and results to let you continue assessments, view results, and sync them across devices. We use rate limiting and security data based on our legitimate interest in protecting the site. Optional analytics runs only if you consent in the cookie settings.
4. Local storage, cookies, and analytics
We use strictly necessary cookies or local storage for language, authentication, consent preferences, assessment progress, and security. These are required for the site to work. Analytics is optional and disabled unless you choose to accept it. You can change or withdraw analytics consent at any time through Cookie settings in the footer.
5. Service providers and transfers
We use trusted service providers to operate the site, including hosting and analytics by Vercel, optional Google sign-in, email delivery by Resend, and database infrastructure. These providers process data only as needed to provide their services. Some providers may process data outside the European Economic Area; where required, this relies on appropriate transfer safeguards such as adequacy decisions or standard contractual clauses.
6. Data retention
Contact messages are kept only as long as needed to respond and maintain business records. Account and saved assessment data are kept while your account or saved results are active, unless you delete them or ask us to erase them. Local assessment progress remains on your device until you clear browser storage or reset the assessment. Consent records are kept so we can remember your choice.
7. Your GDPR rights
If GDPR applies to you, you can request access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, and objection to processing. Where processing is based on consent, you can withdraw consent at any time. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.
8. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect personal data, including access controls, validation, rate limiting, and secure service providers. No online service can guarantee absolute security.
9. Children
MetaCoach is intended for adults and is not directed to children. Please do not submit personal data if you are not old enough to consent to online services under the laws that apply to you.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when the site, legal requirements, or service providers change. The updated date above shows when this policy was last revised.
